No, you do not have to switch your current care team to use Tectonic Health. We are happy to support you in the way that best fits your current needs and situation.
Tectonic Health is a supplemental healthcare benefit and does not replace your health insurance. Our subscription based model means no copays or deductibles for you or any member of your household that uses our services. Tectonic Health does not bill your insurance or submit claims to your health plan; as a result, Tectonic Health services are not applied to your insurance deductible, copays, coinsurance, or out-of-pocket maximum. Any care, testing, prescriptions, specialist visits, emergency care, or third-party services outside of Tectonic Health may be billed separately by those entities and are subject to your health plan's terms.
On your particular go-live day, you will receive an email after 11 am Eastern with a secure activation link. Click on this link and create your account, including all the necessary medical information.
Everyone in your household can use the service. When you create your account, make sure to make a profile for everyone. This way when someone is sick or injured there is no delay.
You can log in to your account online or download our app on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
We do not have a physical office location. When care is needed in person we will provide treatment in your home, at your work, or wherever is convenient for you. In many cases we can fully treat you remotely via text, video, or phone through our app.
Our team is composed of board-certified clinicians, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, with experience in primary and urgent care. They can independently diagnose, prescribe medications, and order tests.
Monday – Friday: 9 am – 5 pm Saturday & Sunday: 9 am – 1 pm Closed: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Most. We recommend reaching out to us to see if we can help with your concern. In cases where we cannot, we can provide navigation support for you and your family. In true medical emergencies, it is important to go straight to the Emergency Department or call 911.
We always assess what is going on and point you in the right direction. This includes consulting with specialists when necessary and providing referrals to the clinician or service that can best support your needs.
If you get hurt on the job, you will still go through your traditional workers' injury protocols. Tectonic Health does not manage workers' comp claims.
We provide prescriptions that can be used at any pharmacy, through your insurance. When the medication is included in our formulary, we have it ordered and shipped directly to your home, at no cost to you.
Unfortunately, due to federal regulations, we are unable to provide treatment to those on Medicare or Medicaid. However, we are happy to provide care navigation support and guidance.
